Now we're talking

  • Official release.

Resolutionator Beta (42)

Mine is space gray, and it's beautiful

  • Added device-specific support for the Mac that came from the future, a.k.a., the 12" retina MacBook.

Resolutionator Beta (39)

No news is good news, right?

  • Same excuse as last time. Again, sorry for the delay.

Resolutionator Beta (31)

Same old

  • Extended the beta's expiration date. We thought we'd manage to take Resolutionator further towards a final 1.0 by mid January, but our plans were foiled by somewhat problematic app store rejections concerning the latest updates for two of our other apps. Sorry for the delay.

Resolutionator Beta (30)

Takeoff

  • First beta.

Resolutionator 1.1.1 requires macOS 10.8 "Mountain Lion" or newer. You can try it for free, and you'll find it's most useful on Macs that have an internal retina display. The release notes are an interesting read.

Why is Resolutionator so inexpensive? In order to do what it does, Resolutionator relies on a non-published programming interface within macOS. Changes to this interface may cause Resolutionator to fail. If that were to happen, we don't want you to feel like you haven't gotten your money's worth from our app. And at only $3, you can do that with a few hours' usage of the application.
