Move and zoom windows
Moom 4.5 requires
macOS 10.13 High Sierra
or newer.
For the nostalgically inclined,
older versions are here.
If the latest version of Moom is a paid upgrade for you, we will give you a choice between learning more first and updating right away. We will never automatically replace a paid app with a demo version of that app!
Once you're ready to update, the easiest way to do so is to update from within Moom and then purchase an upgrade license from the License/Buy window. (You can also purchase the update directly on our site.)
No, they're not. When you purchased Moom, the purchase included one year of updates. After that year, further updates—like this one!—may require a purchase. But that purchase will also include another year of updates.
These paid updates are optional; the version of Moom that you're using will continue to work without purchasing an update, as Moom isn't sold as a subscription.
We announced the change to our pricing model in 2021: Switching to an evolutionary app update model. That page explains why we made the change, so please give it a read.
This new model puts you in charge of update timing and cost: You decide when to buy an update, based on the value you perceive from the features we add over time. Read the linked page for full details.
As always, our release notes detail the changes in this version—remember, you'll get everything listed for every version between what you're using now and the latest version.
And yes, you can always test our apps before you buy them just by installing the latest version. After testing, if you don't find enough there to merit a purchase, open the License window and use the "Find Last Owned Version" button to install your previously-licensed version.
You can either complete the update from within the latest version of Moom (in the Buy/License window), or you can purchase it directly on our site.
Only if you never buy any Moom updates in the future. But assuming you do purchase an update at some point, that update will include all prior updates (as well as an additional year of updates).
The upgrade cost is shown in the pop-up when you hover over the Buy Now button on Moom's web page. You can also see the cost if you click the Upgrade button within the latest version of Moom. (We don't list it specifically here as it may vary over time, and we'd like to keep this page generic. Generally speaking, though, the upgrade cost is around half the cost of the app.)
