Last Friday, we released a minor update to Menu Bar Tint, our freebie app that, well, tints the menu bar.
New in this release is improved compatibility with macOS 26, and a modernized settings window. You could read about those changes in the release notes, but that’s literally almost exactly what they say :).
You can install the update in-app, or by downloading a new copy of the app (you won’t lose your settings) from our site.
Many Tricks

Kudos to the Many Tricks team! I wanted, after I set up a custom color scheme for my menu bar, a static image–no “bounce” or change when the cursor hovers on the menu bar–I wanted to see the gradient colors at all times. They worked with me to understand what I wanted, and the answer was simple–keep the opacity and hover controls equal/same level. It wasn’t something I would have figured out on my own, and they kept at helping me until both sides understood what was being requested. A lot of work on their part for support of a freebie app! Definitely worth your time to deal with these folk–good programs and good customer support.
