Moom 4.5 released

Moom 4.5 has been released, with a couple of (very nice!) new features, and some bug fixes and behind the scenes improvements.

The first new feature is that Moom can now leave room for Stage Manager, if it’s visible and you’ve enabled Moom’s setting (in the gear icon) to allow room for Stage Manager.

The second new feature is an often-requested one: Moom can now optionally hide apps that aren’t in a saved layout when you restore that layout. This is a per-layout setting, so you can have some layouts that hide other apps, and some that don’t. For those of you (like me!) who don’t like Spaces, but still like to focus on certain projects, this is a great way to do just that.

You can read about the other changes and improvements in Moom’s release notes, and you can update with the in-app updater, or by downloading a fresh copy of the app (you won’t lose your settings!) from Moom’s web page.

Moom includes a year of updates with purchase, so if this update shows as paid for you, it means your year has expired. You can either purchase another year of updates now for $8, or wait and purchase when you’re ready—you won’t ever miss any updates, as you’ll get all prior updates up to that point, plus another year of updates.
