Menu Bar Tint 4.0 released

Menu Bar Tint 4.0 has been released. This update now applies tint behind the menu bar, which means you can use it to hide the notch on MacBook displays, for example. (You can still use it the old way, if you prefer, via a change in settings that’s detailed in the release notes.)

In addition, we worked around an annoying behavior in macOS Golden Gate when Siri was active: Menu Bar Tint’s Settings window would appear any time you interacted with the Siri app. (This wasn’t due to anything in our code, but we’ve worked around Siri’s apparent insistence on making our Settings window visible.)

You can check for updates within the app, or download a new copy from our site—you won’t lose your settings.
