Witch now officially supports multiple monitors

A couple days back, we posted a hint on using Witch on Macs with multiple displays. The hint explained how to use Terminal to make Witch appear on the display containing the mouse, instead of on the main display.

The feedback from this hidden feature was quite strong, so we decided to make it much simpler to implement. In Witch 3.5.4 (update via in-app updating, or from the Witch page), a new drop-down menu on the Behavior tab now allows you to choose where the Witch panel appears.

If you use multiple displays, try this out—you may find, as I do, that Witch is much easier to use when it appears on the screen you’re actively working on.

Something happened with Witch’s support for CMD+TAB. It used to work, but stopped a few days ago. Any idea? Maybe it got to do something with one of the latest SL updated (graphic 1.0 or one of the others).

    Thanks

I filed a support ticket a week ago that noone ever answered: I bought Witch and the license I was emailed is rejected by the program (I’ve browsed the FAQ and it’s not a file extension issue).

Being a developper myself, I pay for software (big and small), but the least I expect from commercial software is that the license actually works.

(You have my email address, so you can contact me back if you ever read this.)

    FX:

There are no tickets in the system from the last week that are related to Witch and licenses. I reply to *every* ticket that gets filed in the system, and usually do so within hours, not days or weeks.

Please email me directly on this issue, as I do *not* have your email address. Honestly, support is one of the things I pride myself on doing well, and there’s no way I’d let an issue like yours go a week without handling it (unless I was away from a Mac for that length of time).

So please, email me directly so I have your email address, and we’ll figure it out.

Rob: received your email, resubmitted a new ticket… it was my mistake, sorry!
