Preferences
While most of Butler's settings are specific for a given item and thus controled in the configuration's Inspector, there are some global — i.e., item-independent — settings. Those are organized in the following sections:
These settings let you control Butler's startup behavior, determine the range of folders Butler scans for its applications database, and determine how frequently Butler will update its cache. The latter is used for triggering items via abbreviation and controling iTunes, for instance.
These settings control the behavior and appearance of the docklet.
These settings control the behavior and appearance of Butler's menus.
These settings control some of the basic features of Butler's abbreviations functionality.
Most importantly, you can choose your active corners here.
