Today we released Leech 2.0.1, the first minor update for Leech 2. If you have Leech set to check for updates automatically, you should see it as an available update. If you’re checking manually, now would be a good time to check! Alternatively, you can download it directly if you wish.
This release includes a revised and expanded help section (in English only as of now); a New Folder button on the ‘Download To’ dialog in the Rules pane; and fixes for a couple of issues: Firefox downloads will now route properly when affected by a rule, and deleting in-progress downloads now actually deletes them (and no longer triggers a Growl alert).
There are a couple of other minor changes as well; you can read about them on Leech’s Release Notes page.
One feature I’d really like is that one could apply a batch of rules to a file type, instead of just one rule.
I’m not sure I understand this — a rule can basically do only two things (move and/or open a file). How could you use a batch of rules? Can you give us an example of what it is you’d like to accomplish?

I need to get each compressed file into a specific folder and then decompress it there.
I could accomplish the second part with the Open rule (after the Move rule), because (on my system) compressed files open with Springy, which then extracts the archive to a subfolder.
…Another useful rule would be: “Reveal destination folder in Finder”.
This would be for a 3rd step in that use case I’ve mentioned.
I should add that Springy (and BetterZip, as well) extract to a subfolder if the archive holds multiple files, and to the same folder otherwise.
Sorry for the multiple posts.
